Product Compliance Speacialist

We are seeking for a Product Compliance Specialist(Temporary) or our international client working on furniture and home furnishing.
At least 2 years experiences about product Quality & Compliance and relevant processes,
Knowledge about quality standards, product requirements, production and materials,
Experience in collaborating with suppliers,
University degree in quality management, preferably chemistry/chemical engineering or similar. Alternatively, technical background and significant experience working with Quality/compliance management or chemical issues,
Mother tongue or advanced knowledge in English speaking.
Lead and facilitate training for Business teams and Suppliers to develop competence about IoS Specifications, testing, ways of working and compliance tools,
Support the implementation of IKEA Chemical strategy within purchasing, including supporting IWAY in selected globally agreed chemical-related production processes; ensure that PLA action plan reflects the Global Purchasing APL for the Chemical Strategy and follow up implementation,
Perform spot checks in the framework of the PM working method on “Gate Check Before First Delivery” to support the business team to verify that new products comply with documentation requirements. As well, from time to time on project basis, verify compliance on the running product range,
Coach and support the Business teams in evaluating potential new suppliers by addressing risks/risk mitigation connected to Product safety and Chemical Compliance,
Mapping and perform risk assessment of critical chemical substances/materials and processes. As well, perform XRF screening test on risk materials,
Participate in the development of new IoS specifications and other product requirements. Secure input is given on potential impacts on supply chain as well on the requirement documents’ readability and clarity,
Contribute in developing and implementing global product compliance working methods and tools, and support local implementation,
Contribute to develop the competence of CONNECT responsible and Chemical Navigator at the supplier,
Support GO/NOGO auditor (points: 1 PDOC, 2 CONNECT and 3 Special appendixes related to chemicals),
Perform trouble-shooting when non-compliance to Safety & Health requirements has been found and to be a PLA risk team member in case of safety alarms.
